Log Kya Kahenge

Kuch to log kahenge

Logon ka kaam hai kehna

Chhodo bekaar ki baaton mein kahin beet na jaaye raina

Said the legendary Kishore Kumar

Picture this: You're chilling on the couch, sporting your most stylish pajamas, indulging in a Netflix marathon. Life is good, right?

Wrong!

Because even in your most laid-back moments, someone, somewhere, is probably shaking their head and muttering, "Shouldn't they be doing something more productive?"

Understand that you are being judged even when you're not doing anything. Whether you're working hard or hardly working, there's always someone with an opinion. So, why not give them something to really talk about? Since you’re going to be judged no matter what, it's better to be your authentic self and pursue what truly makes you happy.

Don't fret about "Log Kya Kahenge". Embrace your quirks, your passions, and your inner weirdness.

Want to dance like nobody's watching (even though someone probably is)? Go for it!

Dream of starting a llama farm in your backyard? Who's stopping you (besides zoning laws and basic common sense)?

The bottom line is this: Life's too short to live according to other people's expectations. So, wear that neon fanny pack with pride, pursue your wildest dreams, and let your flag fly high! After all, the best stories come from those who dare to defy the status quo.

And hey, if anyone asks about your unconventional choices, just smile and sing, " Kuch toh log kahenge... Logon Ka Kaam hai Kehna". Better still, play it on loudspeaker and dance along.!

Because really, who cares? As long as you're happy, fulfilled, and not breaking any major laws, let the naysayers chatter away while you strut around and live your best life.

Don't hold back—start making a difference today! Your actions matter, and the world needs your unique contributions. Remember, every step you take towards your goals is a step towards a more sustainable and inclusive future.

So, go ahead, Embrace your uniqueness, laugh in the face of judgment, and remember: "Log Kya Kahenge" is just background noise in the symphony of your epic adventure called Life!

My Saudi Expedition

Join me on an enchanting journey through the heart of Saudi Arabia, where spirituality meets sustainability and tradition merges with innovation. From the bustling cityscapes to the serene desert landscapes, Saudi Arabia offers a captivating blend of contrasts, rich in culture and commitment to a greener future.

Our adventure begins in the holy city of Madina, where the mesmerizing Masjid e Nabawi stands as a beacon of peace and tranquillity. After immersing ourselves in the spiritual aura of the mosque, we embark on a soul-stirring road trip to Mecca. Along the way, we're greeted by vast expanses of desert, a stark reminder of the beauty and solitude of the Arabian landscape.

Here's a fun fact: Ever wondered why the roads in Saudi Arabia are bumpy and curvy? It's not just by chance—it's a deliberate design to prevent drivers from falling asleep while cruising at high speeds of 120 kmph. Talk about innovative road safety measures!

As we approach Mecca, the landscape transforms, revealing the majestic architecture and the grandiose of the clock tower - a towering testament to modern engineering and architectural marvel. Its presence dominates the skyline, reminding us of the blend of tradition and progress that defines Saudi Arabia. The holy mosque—the Masjid al-Haram is an iconic structure that stands as a symbol of faith and devotion, drawing millions of pilgrims from around the world each year.

After walking down the street from the Clock Tower of Mecca to reach the revered Masjid al-Haram and then performing the Tawwaf (circling around the holy Kaaba 7 times) there's nothing quite like quenching your thirst with a sip of Zam Zam water. This sacred water, drawn from the Zam Zam well near the Kaaba, holds profound spiritual significance. It is believed that whatever intent you make before taking a sip, it will be fulfilled - be it material or otherwise. Kun faya kun.

Beyond its religious importance, Zam Zam water provides a refreshing respite from the scorching desert heat, offering a cooling effect that soothes the soul and rejuvenates the body. As you take that first sip, you can feel the revitalizing energy coursing through you, washing away the fatigue of your journey and leaving you ready to embrace the spiritual serenity of the holy sanctuary.

Despite being a desert nation, Saudi Arabia surprises with its cleanliness and orderliness. Even with sand everywhere, the streets gleam with cleanliness, a testament to the nation's commitment to maintaining its surroundings.

What truly makes Saudi Arabia special is its people. Warm, welcoming, and hospitable, the Saudi people embody the spirit of generosity and kindness, making every visitor feel at home. The men are dressed in a Thawb (It is a loose-fitting, long robe consisting of 22 embroidered pieces that cover most of the body, with long sleeves that end at the wrists), and is generally white. The Women are in an Abaya (which is a loose fitting long robe with a head scarf) generally in black, although there are colored versions available. Enter any complex, and you cannot tell who is rich or poor or their family background - unless you wait in the parking lot and watch who gets in what car.! And let's not forget about the biodiversity of this land. Despite its reputation as a desert, Saudi Arabia is home to a rich array of flora and fauna, from the majestic Arabian oryx to the vibrant coral reefs along its coastlines. Of course, the very dear Camels along the way.

Our adventure doesn't end there. From Dammam, we set out on another road trip, this time to Al-Qarah Mountain, a hidden gem nestled near Dammam. The drive is a mesmerizing experience, with the desert unfolding before us in all its splendor.

Upon reaching Al-Qarah Mountain, we're greeted by a landscape unlike any other. The mountain rises majestically from the desert floor, its rugged beauty a testament to the forces of nature. But it's not just the mountain itself that captivates us—it's what lies within.

Exploring the caves of Al-Qarah Mountain is an adventure like no other. As we step inside, we're enveloped by a cool breeze, a stark contrast to the burning heat outside. The caves are a refuge from the harshness of the desert, offering a glimpse into a hidden world of wonder and silence.

Next up was Dammam. Nestled in the bustling cityscape of Dammam, the Seiko Building stands as a beacon of modernity and elegance, offering a haven for shopping enthusiasts. As you step inside, you're greeted by a world of luxury and style, with renowned brands and upscale boutiques lining the halls. From designer fashion to exquisite jewelry, the Seiko Building is a paradise for those seeking the finest in quality and craftsmanship. With its chic ambiance and unparalleled selection, shopping at the Seiko Building in Dammam is not just an experience—it's a journey of indulgence.

During the journey, I had the privilege of witnessing a nation undergoing a monumental transformation towards sustainability. From flourishing urban landscapes to ambitious land reclamation endeavors, Saudi Arabia is meticulously crafting a future that blends growth with environmental stewardship.

Land reclamation projects, such as the King Abdullah Economic City and the Jeddah Waterfront Development, are reshaping Saudi Arabia's coastline, offering new opportunities for habitation and commerce. These ventures are not just grandiose ideas but tangible realities. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the King Abdullah Economic City alone is projected to create over one million jobs and contribute significantly to the nation's GDP by 2035.

Water scarcity is a pressing issue in many arid regions, including Saudi Arabia. However, the kingdom is pioneering sustainable water solutions through seawater desalination. According to the International Desalination Association, Saudi Arabia is the world leader in desalination capacity, producing over 5 million cubic meters of desalinated water/day. This innovation is crucial for ensuring a reliable water supply throughout the kingdom.

Saudi Arabia's commitment to renewable energy is evident through projects like the Sakaka Solar Plant, one of the largest solar facilities in the Middle East. According to the Renewable Energy Project Development Office, this plant is expected to generate enough clean energy to power around 45,000 homes and offset over 430,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually.

The kingdom's dedication to sustainability extends beyond infrastructure and energy to encompass environmental conservation and biodiversity. The Saudi Green Initiative and the Middle East Green Initiative aim to plant billions of trees, protect marine and terrestrial habitats, and combat desertification. These initiatives align with global efforts to mitigate climate change and preserve natural ecosystems for future generations.

From ambitious land reclamation ventures to groundbreaking water innovations and renewable energy initiatives, Saudi Arabia is forging a path towards a greener, more resilient future. As the kingdom continues to prioritize sustainability, it serves as an inspiration for nations worldwide striving to balance development with environmental preservation.

Exploring Saudi Arabia's sustainable evolution, I witnessed remarkable initiatives like hashtagLandReclamationProjects and hashtagWaterInnovation firsthand. The kingdom's commitment to hashtagRenewableEnergy and hashtagGreenInitiatives is reshaping its landscape, fostering hashtagSustainabilityLeadership on a global scale. From hashtagDesalinationTechnology to hashtagUrbanDevelopment, Saudi Arabia exemplifies hashtagSustainableInfrastructure and sets a precedent for hashtagClimateAction and hashtagEnvironmentalConservation. As the nation pioneers a hashtagGreenEconomy, it inspires a hashtagFutureForward approach to development. From the sacred mosques to the rugged mountains and desert oases, Saudi Arabia is a land of endless discovery and inspiration.

My luxe Auto ride

In the bustling city of Bangalore, where the roads are always teeming with vehicles and the air buzzes with the energy of its residents, i happened to come across a unique ride on three wheels - it’s a vibrant, pulsating spectacle that turns heads and brings joy to its passengers.

Let me take you on a journey through my unforgettable experience of wedding shopping in Bangalore, all while riding in the most extraordinary auto rickshaw I've ever encountered…

My day of wedding shopping began like any other—frenetic, with a list of items that seemed impossible to complete. As I stepped out of my house and walked towards the auto stand, I flagged down an auto rickshaw, expecting a standard ride. What pulled up to the curb was anything but "standard". Draped in what seemed like a thousand little colorful lights that twinkled even in the daylight, and equipped with a mini disco ball casting a kaleidoscope of reflections, this auto was a riot of colors and cheer amidst the chaotic traffic.

As I climbed in, I was greeted by the driver, Ravi (imaginary name), whose cheerful demeanor was as bright as the lights decorating his vehicle. The interior was a testament to Ravi’s dream of luxury. The seats were plush, covered in faux leather with intricate patterns, and there was a small but powerful stereo system playing upbeat music.

Ravi, with a wide grin, handed me a soft drink from a cooler nestled beside him and said, "Welcome to my luxury ride! Where to?"

As we navigated through the city's bustling streets, Ravi shared his story. His dream was to own a Mercedes, a symbol of ultimate luxury in his eyes. However, until that day came, he decided to transform his humble auto rickshaw into a rolling fantasy. "Why wait for a dream when you can live it today?" he said, adjusting the volume on the stereo to let a lively tune fill the air.

Ravi's enthusiasm was infectious. He spoke passionately about his journey, his plans, and his love for his city. His auto was not just a means of transport but an extension of his personality—vibrant, welcoming, and full of life.

Our first stop was Commercial Street, a popular shopping destination. The ride was incredibly comfortable, and the refreshing drink was a delightful touch. Every vendor and passerby couldn't help but glance at our flashy ride, often with a smile or a wave. Ravi's auto was a moving carnival, spreading joy wherever it went, and catching the attention of everyone it passed by. At one signal light, this humble auto turned more heads than a Lamborghini that has just stopped. I noticed a sly wide grin spread on Ravi's face as he realized what had just happened.

As the day progressed, I ticked off items from my shopping list. Each ride between shops was a mini-celebration, complete with disco lights and peppy music. Ravi's cooler was well-stocked, ensuring I stayed hydrated and energized throughout the day. With the lovely collection of songs (yes, there is a selection and you can recommend), there was an infinite supply of energy. The seats were so comfy, I had a good rest between stops and never felt the need to cut the ride short.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over the city, I sat back in the comfortable seat of Ravi’s luxe auto, feeling a sense of accomplishment and joy. My shopping was complete, and the experience had been nothing short of magical. Ravi turned down the music and asked, “Did you enjoy the ride?”

I couldn't help but laugh. "This was the best part of my day," I admitted. "You’ve truly created something special here."

Ravi beamed with pride. "Thank you! One day, it will be a Mercedes. But until then, I’ll make sure every ride in my auto is unforgettable."

As we pulled up to my house, I thanked Ravi for the incredible experience. His auto rickshaw was more than just a mode of transport; it was a testament to creativity, joy, and the pursuit of dreams. In a city known for its hustle and bustle, Ravi’s auto was a beacon of light and laughter.

It’s not just a ride; it's an experience, a glimpse into one man's dream, and a reminder that with a bit of creativity and passion, even the humblest of things can be transformed into something extraordinary.

Kiaan's Holi Adventure

In a grand mansion in a quaint town, the air buzzed with anticipation as Holi approached. Kiaan, a spirited 4-year-old with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, bounded through the halls, his laughter echoing like the melody of a playful stream.

"Kiaan, go play outside," I urged, my tone gentle but firm as I shooed him away from the adults' conversations.

But Kiaan was on a quest, a quest fueled by boundless curiosity and an insatiable thirst for knowledge. With each step, he peppered the air with a barrage of questions, his tiny voice echoing off the ornate walls of the mansion.

"What’s a festival? What is celebration?" ?" he asked, his 'r' rolling into a pronounced 'l' that only added to his adorable charm.

"Hey, Kiaan," his Maasi Riya chirped, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she twirled a strand of her hair. "A festival is like a big party, but with extra sparkles and giggles!"

Kiaan's brow furrowed in concentration as he processed Riya's explanation. "So, it's like a party for the whole town?” he quipped, his eyes wide with wonder.

"Exactly!" Riya exclaimed, her grin widening. "And celebration is when everyone dances and sings and eats yummy food till their tummies are as full as balloons!"

Kiaan's eyes lit up with excitement as he envisioned the scene Riya described. "Wow! I want to celebrate every day!" he declared, his laughter ringing through the room like a chorus of bells.

His uncle chuckled, ruffling Kiaan's hair affectionately. "Celebrating every day might be a bit much, buddy," he teased, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "But we can make every day special by finding joy in the little things, like sharing laughter with loved ones or watching the sunset."

Kiaan nodded thoughtfully, absorbing his uncle's words like a sponge. "So, celebration is about being happy together?" he mused, his gaze drifting to the colorful festivities outside.

"Exactly," his uncle replied, his voice warm with affection. "And today, we're celebrating the joy of being a family, of making memories that will last a lifetime."

"But why colours?" he asked, wondering.

The adults exchanged amused glances, their patience wearing thin as they attempted to placate the relentless stream of inquiries. "Go play, Kiaan," they said, their voices laced with gentle exasperation.

Undeterred, Kiaan turned to his grandfather, his eyes wide with wonder. "Tell me about Holi, Dada," he pleaded, tugging at the hem of his grandfather's robe.

And so, seated amidst a sea of cushions and draped in the warm embrace of love, Kiaan listened with rapt attention as his grandfather spun tales of ancient legends and timeless traditions. He learned of Holika, the evil demoness whose demise marked the triumph of good over evil, and of Prahlad, the virtuous prince whose unwavering faith sparked the birth of Holi as a festival of colours.

Kiaan's thirst for knowledge was insatiable. He now turned to his aunts and uncles, questioning each in turn about the significance of colours, and the joy of celebration.

"Hey Kiaan, why don't you go play with your toys?" suggested his uncle, a hint of concern in his voice.

"But why can't I play with the colours?" asked Kiaan, eyes wide with curiosity.

"Because the colours might hurt your eyes if they get in them," he explained.

"Why colours make eyes owie?" Kiaan asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.

In that moment, a hush fell over the room as the adults exchanged worried glances. But before anyone could respond, Riya swooped in with a gentle smile, her eyes twinkling with determination.

"Let's make our own colours, Kiaan," she declared, her voice tinged with excitement. "From vegetables! It will be fun!"

The kids all lit up at this and dropped whatever it was they were doing and rushed in with a whole barrage of questions.

“Vegetables? Really?” they quipped.

“Yes, and you can be all squishy with them” she said.

“Yo Hoo” screamed the kids, and rushed towards the kitchen to grab whatever much they could.

And so, armed with beets, turmeric, and spinach, the whole family embarked on a colorful adventure. Amidst peals of laughter and the vibrant hues of homemade colours, we bonded over shared experiences, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

In Kiaan's innocent curiosity and boundless energy, we found a spark of inspiration, a reminder of the joy that lay in embracing the simple pleasures of life. And as we danced amidst a kaleidoscope of colours, the mansion echoed with the laughter of children and the joy of celebration, bringing the family closer together in a tapestry of love and joyousness.
